This Data Deletion Policy explains how Kaarox users can request deletion of their account and personal data.
This policy applies to personal data connected to your Kaarox account, including account information, profile information, business cards, personal pages, posts, messages, uploaded media, subscriptions, reports, settings, location-related data, product listings, marketplace listings, selling activity, certification or verification information, buyer and seller messages, and other information connected to your use of the app.
You may request deletion of your account or personal data by contacting us at: info@kaarox.com.
Please include the email address linked to your Kaarox account and write “Data Deletion Request” in the subject line.
If you request full account deletion, Kaarox will delete or anonymise personal data connected to your account where possible. This may include:
If you used Kaarox to list, promote, buy, sell, or exchange items, deletion of your account may remove or anonymise product and marketplace-related data where possible. This may include your listings, item descriptions, item photos, prices, availability, seller details, buyer enquiries, and marketplace messages.
However, some product or marketplace information may not be fully removed if it has already been received, saved, copied, reported, or interacted with by another user, or if Kaarox needs to keep limited records for safety, fraud prevention, dispute review, moderation, certification review, legal compliance, or policy enforcement.
Kaarox does not currently provide direct in-app payment processing for marketplace transactions between buyers and sellers. Because user-to-user payments are handled outside Kaarox, Kaarox cannot delete payment records held by banks, payment providers, or other third parties used by buyers or sellers outside the app.
Some features, including product, seller, listing, marketplace, visibility, or promotional features, may require certification, verification, approval, or eligibility checks. If you delete your account, Kaarox may delete or anonymise this information where possible.
Kaarox may keep limited certification, verification, or eligibility records where needed for safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute handling, policy enforcement, or to prevent repeated misuse of restricted features.
Some information may need to be kept for a limited time where necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, dispute-handling, payment, moderation, marketplace safety, certification review, or user protection reasons.
For example, Kaarox may retain limited records relating to payments, subscription history, reports, blocked users, policy violations, abuse investigations, marketplace reports, suspicious listings, certification or verification reviews, fraud prevention, buyer or seller disputes, or legal requests.
If you delete your account, messages or content you sent to other users may not always be fully removed from the other user's account or device, especially where the other user has already received, saved, copied, downloaded, reported, or interacted with that content.
This may also apply to marketplace-related messages, buyer or seller enquiries, listing conversations, delivery or collection discussions, and transaction-related communications.
We may remove or anonymise your identity from such content where technically possible and appropriate.
If your content, listing, marketplace activity, certification status, or account was reported, removed, restricted, or involved in a safety investigation, Kaarox may keep limited records about the report or moderation action to protect users, prevent abuse, prevent fraud, enforce our policies, and comply with legal obligations.
If you had a paid subscription, Kaarox may keep limited subscription and payment records where needed for billing, tax, accounting, refund handling, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or payment provider requirements.
If your subscription was purchased through Apple App Store, Google Play, PayPal, card payment, or another payment provider, that provider may also keep payment records under its own policies.
Marketplace payments made directly between buyers and sellers outside Kaarox are not processed by Kaarox. If you used an outside bank, wallet, payment app, cash payment, card processor, or other third-party payment method for a marketplace transaction, you may need to contact that provider directly about payment records or deletion rights.
Deleted data may remain in backup systems for a limited period before being permanently removed. During this period, backup data is not used for normal app operation unless needed for recovery, security, legal, fraud prevention, marketplace safety, certification review, or compliance purposes.
We aim to process deletion requests within 30 days. In some cases, we may need more time if the request is complex, if we need to verify your identity, or if we are legally required to keep certain information.
To protect your account, we may ask you to verify your identity before we delete account data. This helps prevent someone else from deleting your account without permission.
After your account is deleted, you may lose access to your Kaarox account, profile, cards, personal pages, posts, messages, subscriptions, product listings, marketplace listings, selling features, certification status, saved information, and other app features. Some deleted information may not be recoverable.
Account deletion does not automatically cancel or resolve marketplace arrangements, delivery, collection, refund, return, warranty, or payment issues agreed directly between buyers and sellers outside Kaarox.
