Kaarox – Terms of Service

Last updated: 14 August 2026

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of Kaarox, including accounts, personal and business profiles, digital cards, industry and location-based discovery, Nearby Industry Exchange, Prolonged Share, posts, community hubs, text-based messaging, bookings, subscription features, marketplace-style listings, reporting, blocking, and other features that Kaarox makes available.

By creating an account, accessing Kaarox, purchasing a subscription, or using any Kaarox feature, you agree to these Terms and the related Kaarox policies that apply to your use of the service. If you do not agree, you must not use Kaarox.

Important service information: The initial production release of Kaarox is for iOS. Subscriptions in the iOS app are purchased and managed through the Apple App Store. An Android version and Google Play billing may be introduced later. Kaarox does not currently accept PayPal for subscriptions, does not process user-to-user marketplace payments, and does not provide voice calling, video calling, or VoIP services.

1. About Kaarox

Kaarox is a digital networking and service-discovery application. It may allow individuals and businesses to create profiles and digital cards, select industries and services, discover relevant providers, share and receive cards, publish posts, participate in community hubs, exchange text-based messages, manage bookings, and publish marketplace-style listings.

Features may depend on your location, device, operating system, account status, verification status, subscription plan, permissions, and the version of Kaarox available to you. A feature described in these Terms is not guaranteed to be available to every user or in every country.

2. Related Policies

These Terms should be read together with the following policies:

If a plan description or purchase screen contains additional terms that apply to a particular feature or subscription, those terms also form part of your agreement with Kaarox. Mandatory rights under applicable consumer law are not excluded by these Terms.

3. Eligibility

You must be legally permitted to use online services and enter into these Terms in your country or region. If applicable law requires permission from a parent or legal guardian, you may use Kaarox only with that permission.

If you use Kaarox for or on behalf of a business or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation and that it will comply with these Terms.

4. Your Account

You must provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably up to date. You are responsible for protecting your login credentials, devices, and account access. You must promptly contact Kaarox if you believe that your account has been accessed or used without authorisation.

You must not:

5. Lawful and Responsible Use

You must use Kaarox lawfully, honestly, safely, and respectfully. You are responsible for complying with the laws and professional requirements that apply to your content, business, products, services, promotions, bookings, communications, listings, and transactions.

Businesses are responsible for obtaining and maintaining any licences, permits, registrations, qualifications, approvals, consumer notices, advertising permissions, and other legal rights required for the goods or services they offer.

6. User Content

You may be able to upload, create, publish, or send content through Kaarox, including text, images, videos, profile and business information, contact details, cards, posts, comments, messages, booking information, service descriptions, product or item details, prices, links, availability, delivery or collection details, and promotional material (“User Content”).

You retain ownership of your User Content. You give Kaarox a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, transmit, display, and otherwise process that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, moderate, provide, and improve Kaarox and to comply with law. This licence ends when the content is deleted from our active systems, except where continued retention or processing is permitted or required by law, safety needs, backups, dispute handling, or the rights of other users who received or interacted with the content.

You confirm that you have all rights and permissions needed to upload and use your User Content. You are responsible for ensuring that it is accurate, lawful, respectful, not misleading, and does not violate the privacy, intellectual property, publicity, contractual, or other rights of any person or organisation.

7. Prohibited Content and Behaviour

You must not use Kaarox to create, upload, share, promote, list, or send:

You must not scrape Kaarox, probe or interfere with its security, obtain unauthorised access, overload the service, reverse engineer protected components except where law expressly permits it, manipulate analytics or receiving limits, or use automation to abuse Kaarox or other users.

8. Profiles, Cards, Industries, and Discovery

Kaarox may allow you to create business cards, personal cards, personal pages, business profiles, and related content. Eligible plans may allow separate industry selections for different card or profile types. The selections and features available to you are shown in the app.

Discovery may use the industries, services, subcategories, interests, search terms, approximate proximity, city, and other relevance signals associated with users and cards. Selecting an industry or service does not guarantee that a particular card, provider, booking, or result will be displayed.

You must keep your profile, card, business, service, location, contact, qualification, and promotional information accurate and not misleading. Kaarox may correct categorisation, reduce visibility, request verification, or remove content that is inaccurate, unsafe, deceptive, or improperly classified.

9. Nearby Industry Exchange

Nearby Industry Exchange supports location-based discovery and automatic card exchange between relevant nearby users. When this account setting is enabled and you grant the required device location permission, Kaarox may periodically use your foreground location while you are actively using the app to determine whether other eligible users are within the permitted range.

Matching is based on the industry and service selections associated with the relevant card and receiver. Kaarox may automatically deliver eligible cards without either user selecting each recipient or delivery manually. Your exact device location is not displayed to card recipients.

Where Nearby Industry Exchange is shown as enabled for your account, it remains enabled until you turn it off. You can manage the setting through the applicable industry-selection or account controls. If location permission is denied, location services are unavailable, you sign out, or the app is no longer active, nearby scanning and publication may stop or become unavailable.

10. Prolonged Share

Prolonged Share allows an eligible card that you received from another user to continue reaching additional relevant nearby users. When Nearby Industry Exchange is enabled, eligible newly received cards may be enabled for Prolonged Share under that account setting. Where Kaarox provides a card-specific control, you may also turn Prolonged Share on or off for that card.

By enabling Nearby Industry Exchange or enabling Prolonged Share for a received card, you authorise Kaarox to use that card for automatic nearby delivery while you are actively using Kaarox. A recipient must have selected the matching industry and service and must be within the applicable sharing range. You do not select or approve each recipient.

Prolonged Share may stop when you turn it off, disable Nearby Industry Exchange, remove the received card, the card expires, its delivery or receiving limit is reached, the underlying subscription or eligibility ends, the card is restricted or moderated, or the relevant user is no longer actively available for nearby exchange.

Turning Prolonged Share or Nearby Industry Exchange off prevents new deliveries through your copy of the card. It does not recall or automatically remove copies already delivered to other users. Existing recipients may retain a delivered card until they delete it, it expires, or Kaarox removes it for safety, legal, subscription, or policy reasons.

Prolonged Share does not transfer ownership of the original card or allow the intermediate sharer to impersonate the card owner, alter the owner’s identity, guarantee the card’s accuracy, or promise any particular reach or result.

11. Current Plan-Based Sharing Limits

Sharing range, delivered-card lifespan, receiving limits, media access, and other service limits may depend on the applicable plan. Unless a different current limit is clearly shown in the app before purchase or use, the current sharing limits are:

Plan Maximum sharing range Delivered-card lifespan Current receiving limits
Trial / Basic Up to 1 kilometre Up to 3 days 50 per 6 hours; 200 per 24 hours; 6,000 per 30 days
Standard Up to 5 kilometres Up to 7 days 2,500 per 12 hours; 5,000 per 24 hours; 150,000 per 30 days
Premium Up to 25 kilometres Up to 30 days Up to 10,000,000 per 30 days

These delivered-card lifespans are feature periods for card copies. They are not subscription billing periods. A monthly subscription and an annual subscription continue for the billing period recorded by Apple, regardless of an individual delivered card’s shorter lifespan.

Limits may reset on rolling or fixed service windows, and Kaarox may use technical safeguards such as active-card limits, delivery limits, duplicate prevention, short-lived nearby-presence records, and abuse controls. Free access may have reduced or unavailable paid sharing features. Current plan benefits and any material limits will be presented in the app or applicable plan description.

12. Location-Based Features

With the required permission, Kaarox may process device location to provide proximity-based discovery, Nearby Industry Exchange, Prolonged Share, local relevance, city information, marketplace location, safety, and related functions. The current Nearby Industry Exchange scanner is intended to use foreground location while the app is active.

You can deny or withdraw device location permission through your device settings and can turn off applicable Kaarox location-sharing controls. Some discovery, exchange, sharing, or local features may not work after permission or the relevant setting is disabled.

You must not use location-based features to stalk, track, harass, threaten, endanger, unlawfully profile, target, or harm another person. Kaarox may restrict or remove location features when they are misused.

13. Text Messaging, Posts, Hubs, and Community Features

Kaarox may allow users to exchange text-based messages, publish posts, comment, reply, like content, participate in community hubs or groups, and communicate about cards, services, bookings, or listings.

Kaarox does not provide voice calling, video calling, or VoIP services. The ability to upload or view a video as User Content does not create a live video-calling service. You must not describe or use Kaarox as a voice or video-calling service.

You must not use messaging or community features for harassment, spam, scams, illegal services, unsafe activity, manipulated engagement, misleading promotions, or other conduct prohibited by Kaarox policies.

14. Bookings and Appointments

Kaarox may allow businesses or users to publish availability, offer booking slots, request or confirm appointments, and communicate about services. Unless Kaarox expressly states otherwise, the service provider—not Kaarox—is responsible for the service, price, availability, licensing, cancellation rules, consumer information, quality, safety, and performance of the appointment.

A booking request or confirmation within Kaarox does not guarantee that a service will be provided. Users and providers are responsible for checking all relevant details and resolving service-related issues directly, subject to applicable law.

15. Marketplace Listings and User-to-User Transactions

Kaarox may allow eligible users to list, promote, buy, sell, or exchange items through marketplace-style features. Kaarox provides listing and communication tools but is not the buyer, seller, merchant, escrow agent, payment processor, delivery provider, or guarantor in user-to-user transactions.

Kaarox does not collect, hold, process, transfer, guarantee, or refund payments for user-to-user marketplace transactions. Buyers and sellers independently agree and handle payment, delivery, collection, returns, refunds, warranties, taxes, and other transaction terms outside Kaarox.

Sellers must accurately describe the item, condition, price, location, ownership, availability, and any material limitation. Buyers must review listings and take reasonable precautions before agreeing to a transaction. Users must not list, request, buy, sell, or exchange illegal, stolen, counterfeit, dangerous, recalled, fraudulent, or unlawfully regulated goods or services.

Kaarox may remove listings, restrict marketplace activity, request proof, suspend accounts, or report activity to authorities when reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or policy enforcement.

16. Product Features and Selling Eligibility

Product, seller, and marketplace features may require an eligible plan, certification, business verification, approval, or compliance with additional rules. Access to other Kaarox features does not guarantee access to selling or product tools.

Kaarox may refuse, restrict, suspend, or remove product or selling features for safety, fraud prevention, verification, policy enforcement, technical, subscription, or legal reasons. Verification or subscription access does not guarantee product approval, visibility, buyers, sales, or business results.

17. Business Verification and Certification

Certain business accounts, paid features, booking tools, visibility tools, product tools, marketplace features, or other services may require verification or certification. Kaarox or an authorised service provider may request identity, business, licensing, registration, qualification, or other supporting information.

Kaarox may refuse, delay, suspend, or remove access if information is incomplete, inaccurate, misleading, suspicious, expired, unsuccessful, or no longer valid. A Kaarox verification indicator is not a guarantee, endorsement, professional licence, credit assessment, or promise that a user or business is suitable for a particular transaction.

18. Media and Upload Limits

Kaarox may allow logos, images, promotional media, product media, and videos depending on the plan, account status, certification, feature availability, and app rules. Some free, trial, or paid plans may have different media permissions and limits.

Kaarox may apply file-size, file-type, quantity, storage, duration, safety, copyright, and moderation limits. We may reject, compress, reformat, restrict, or remove media when reasonably necessary to operate and protect the service.

19. Subscriptions and Apple App Store Billing

Kaarox may offer free access, introductory trials or offers, and paid Basic, Standard, and Premium subscriptions. Paid plans may be offered on monthly or annual billing cycles. The plans, prices, currencies, taxes, benefits, limits, eligibility rules, and billing periods available to you are shown before purchase.

For the initial iOS release, subscriptions are purchased, billed, renewed, cancelled, and managed through the Apple App Store using your Apple Account. Apple’s payment terms and applicable store rules also apply. Kaarox does not currently accept PayPal for subscriptions.

If and when Kaarox launches on Android, eligible Android subscriptions may be offered through Google Play. Google Play billing is not a payment option inside the current iOS release. Kaarox will update or supplement its terms as necessary before enabling Android subscription purchases.

Kaarox may verify store transactions and retain an entitlement record to provide the correct plan. A purchase is not valid for Kaarox access merely because a device or client reports it; the relevant store transaction and Kaarox account entitlement must be successfully verified.

20. Trials, Renewal, Plan Changes, and Cancellation

If Apple displays an introductory trial or offer, the duration, eligibility, price, and conversion terms shown by Apple before confirmation apply. A trial may automatically convert to the selected paid subscription unless it is cancelled before Apple’s displayed deadline.

Paid subscriptions automatically renew for the applicable monthly or annual billing period unless cancelled through Apple before the renewal deadline. Apple controls the store billing date, renewal processing, payment method, taxes, currency conversion, grace periods, billing retry, and the timing of upgrades, downgrades, or other plan changes.

You can manage or cancel an iOS subscription through your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting the Kaarox app, stopping use of Kaarox, or deleting your Kaarox account does not cancel an Apple subscription. You must cancel it separately through Apple if you do not want future renewal charges.

Cancellation normally prevents future renewal but may allow paid access to continue until the end of the current verified billing period, subject to Apple’s rules. For additional information, read the Subscription Terms.

21. Refunds

Apple controls refund requests and decisions for subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store. Refund eligibility varies by transaction, country, store rules, and applicable consumer law. Kaarox cannot guarantee that Apple will approve a refund.

Kaarox does not issue refunds for payments arranged directly between marketplace buyers and sellers because Kaarox does not process those payments. Kaarox also does not provide transaction compensation, payment recovery, delivery guarantees, return guarantees, or item-quality guarantees for those outside arrangements.

Nothing in these Terms removes any refund or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded. For additional information, read the Refund Policy.

22. Advertising and Paid Promotion

At the date of these Terms, paid advertising purchases are not available in the initial iOS release. Kaarox may introduce advertising, paid promotion, or additional visibility products later. Before activating a paid advertising product, Kaarox will display the applicable price, duration, eligibility, delivery conditions, and any additional payment, cancellation, or refund terms.

A future advertising or promoted-visibility purchase will not guarantee a particular number of impressions, views, clicks, messages, customers, bookings, or sales unless Kaarox expressly provides a written guarantee for that specific product.

23. Automated and AI-Assisted Recommendations

Kaarox may use automated or AI-assisted systems to suggest industries, services, subcategories, search results, moderation outcomes, relevance, or other recommendations. These systems may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a particular need.

Automated suggestions are informational and do not constitute legal, medical, financial, professional, safety, or business advice. You are responsible for checking a provider, listing, qualification, and result before relying on it. Kaarox may review or correct automated results and may provide a way to report inappropriate or irrelevant output.

24. Privacy and Data

Kaarox may collect and process personal data to provide, secure, operate, personalise, support, moderate, and improve the service. Depending on the features you use, this may include account and profile information, cards, location information, industry and service selections, messages, posts, media, bookings, marketplace listings, reports, verification information, subscription and store-transaction information, device information, diagnostics, and app usage data.

Because Kaarox does not provide voice or video calling, Kaarox does not provide a call-recording service or collect call audio or live call video as part of the launch service. This does not prevent Kaarox from processing videos that a user deliberately uploads as User Content.

For information about data collection, lawful purposes, sharing, security, retention, international processing, location controls, and your privacy rights, read the Privacy Policy.

25. Account and Data Deletion

You may request account or personal-data deletion through the app where available or by contacting Kaarox. Deletion may remove or anonymise profiles, cards, posts, media, settings, and other data in accordance with the Data Deletion Policy.

Some limited information may be retained where reasonably necessary or legally required for security, fraud prevention, moderation, transaction records, store entitlement verification, accounting, tax, disputes, legal claims, regulatory compliance, or enforcement.

Account deletion does not cancel an Apple App Store subscription and does not cancel, refund, reverse, or resolve marketplace arrangements made outside Kaarox. Deleting an account may also remove Kaarox content and access records before the separate Apple subscription period ends. Read the Data Deletion Policy before deleting your account.

26. Reports, Blocking, and Moderation

Users may report accounts, profiles, cards, posts, messages, hubs, listings, products, scams, harassment, impersonation, intellectual property issues, unsafe behaviour, or other suspected violations. Users may block other users where the feature is available.

Kaarox may use automated tools and human review to investigate and respond. Actions may include warnings, content removal, listing removal, reduced visibility, limit enforcement, verification requests, feature restriction, suspension, account deletion, preservation of evidence, or contact with relevant authorities.

Kaarox does not guarantee that every report will result in removal or that every decision will be immediate. Where available, appeals are governed by the applicable Kaarox policy. Read the Report and Block Policy.

27. App Availability and Changes

Kaarox may maintain, update, add, remove, restrict, suspend, or discontinue features, plans, tools, limits, supported regions, or platform versions. We may make changes for security, performance, fraud prevention, legal compliance, store requirements, product development, or other legitimate operational reasons.

We do not guarantee that Kaarox will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or compatible with every device, operating system, network, location, or third-party service. Planned and emergency maintenance may temporarily affect access.

28. No Guarantee of Results

Kaarox may help users discover cards, businesses, services, profiles, bookings, content, or marketplace listings. Kaarox does not guarantee customers, sales, buyers, bookings, visibility, views, messages, followers, subscribers, card deliveries, certification, marketplace transactions, professional outcomes, or any other particular result.

Sharing range and service limits describe maximum technical eligibility, not guaranteed reach. Actual delivery may depend on user location, foreground availability, permissions, industry matching, service matching, subscription status, network conditions, other nearby users, limits, moderation, and technical availability.

29. Third-Party Services

Kaarox may rely on third-party services such as Apple, cloud hosting, authentication, maps, location services, notifications, analytics, verification, media processing, and automated recommendation providers. Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies. Kaarox is not responsible for a third-party service to the extent it is outside Kaarox’s reasonable control.

If users independently use banks, wallets, payment apps, couriers, or other providers for marketplace arrangements outside Kaarox, those services are selected and used by the users and are not Kaarox marketplace payment or delivery services.

30. Intellectual Property

Kaarox’s software, branding, logos, interface, layout, designs, features, and original content are protected by intellectual property and other laws. Except for rights expressly granted in these Terms, Kaarox and its licensors retain all rights in the service.

You must not copy, sell, sublicense, distribute, modify, or create unauthorised derivative works from protected Kaarox materials, or remove proprietary notices, except where Kaarox gives written permission or applicable law expressly allows it.

You must not use Kaarox to infringe copyright, trademark, design, patent, database, trade-secret, or other intellectual property rights. Kaarox may remove allegedly infringing content and take action against repeat or serious infringers.

31. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using Kaarox at any time. Kaarox may warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate access if you violate these Terms or related policies, create risk or harm, misuse the service, fail required verification, infringe rights, evade restrictions, or expose Kaarox or other users to legal, safety, fraud, or security risk.

Where appropriate and legally permitted, Kaarox may provide notice or an opportunity to appeal. Immediate action may be taken when reasonably necessary to prevent harm, protect users, comply with law, address fraud or security threats, or respond to an authority or platform requirement.

Suspension or termination of a Kaarox account does not itself cancel an Apple subscription. Sections that by their nature should survive—such as ownership, liability, dispute, enforcement, and lawful retention provisions—continue after termination.

32. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, Kaarox is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the service will always be uninterrupted, accurate, complete, secure, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose.

Users and businesses are responsible for their own content, conduct, services, products, qualifications, listings, statements, bookings, and transactions. Kaarox does not endorse or guarantee a user, business, provider, item, service, qualification, review, listing, price, payment, delivery, refund, warranty, or outcome merely because it appears on Kaarox.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, remedy, or consumer protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.

33. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kaarox will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, reputation, or data, arising from or related to Kaarox.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kaarox is not responsible for disputes, failed payments, non-delivery, collection, item condition, returns, refunds, warranties, taxes, damages, injuries, or claims arising from user-to-user marketplace transactions or other arrangements made outside Kaarox.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where such liability cannot be limited, or any other liability or right that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

34. Legal Compliance

You are responsible for following all laws that apply to you and your use of Kaarox. Business users and sellers are responsible for applicable consumer protection, e-commerce, product safety, licensing, professional, tax, advertising, sanctions, export, delivery, collection, and other legal requirements.

Kaarox may preserve information, restrict activity, remove content, or cooperate with authorities when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud or abuse, or enforce these Terms.

35. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applicable in the Emirate of Dubai, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that apply in your place of residence.

Before filing a formal claim, you and Kaarox should first attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute by contacting the other party and providing a reasonable description of the issue. Subject to any mandatory right to use another court or dispute process, the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, will have jurisdiction.

36. Changes to These Terms

Kaarox may update these Terms to reflect changes in features, plans, technology, law, store requirements, safety practices, or business operations. When a change is material, Kaarox may provide notice through the app, by email, on the website, or through another reasonable method and will update the “Last updated” date.

Updated Terms apply from the stated effective date. Your continued use of Kaarox after that date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. If applicable law requires separate consent for a change, Kaarox will request it. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must stop using the affected service and may delete your account, but you must separately manage any Apple subscription.

37. General Terms

If a provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective to the extent permitted by law. Kaarox’s failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without Kaarox’s permission. Kaarox may assign these Terms as part of a restructuring, merger, acquisition, transfer of the service, or other lawful business change, subject to applicable law.

These Terms and the incorporated policies form the agreement between you and Kaarox regarding the service, except for additional terms expressly presented for a specific product or feature.
